Asus is currently accumulating quite beautifully inside
tablet market. Time ago Asus wasn’t even proven to the individuals who actually
used its motherboards in their laptops & computers. Now you see Asus
capitalizing on laptops market also, but are not on the extent it has carried
out in the tablet arena. Probably the most voluble of their tablets would be
the ‘Asus Transformer Infinity’, ‘Asus Transformer Pad TF300T’, and ‘Asus
Transformer Prime’. This informative article offers to offer you an innocuous procedure
to root the Transformer Pad TF300T although it being on the Jelly Bean
10.4.2.13 firmware – however you will have to implement it on your tablet your
own risk. This rooting method has become devised by ‘surdupetru’ that is the
Senior Member in the XDA forum.
Rooting basically helps to make the flashing of custom ROM's and installation of certain apps legal – in a few senses – by giving with all
the desired root access. With no root access many useful apps do not get
installed or develop your phone/tablet. Concurrently rooting also voids the
warranty of this tablet. It indicates, e.g., for those who have still 6 months
of warranty left and you decide to root your tablet and finally root it –
through using a tutorial– you'll 't be allowed utilize the warranty when you
stay with the rooted tablet. Should you be ready to go back the warranty then
un-root your tablet – as simple as that.
Other than rooting, the installation of custom ROMs also
voids the warranty. So to get it back you need the stock ROM back on your own
tablet by setting it up – carrying out a suitable procedure. Before you head to
the rooting procedure, always pursue each of the instructions indexed in the
‘Important!’ section to follow.
Requirements
Prior to Rooting Method
·
Rooting cannot be done on
a locked boot-loader! So, the first and the foremost step is to unlock the
boot-loader and then proceed.
·
Proceed only if you have
’10.4.2.13 Jelly Bean firmware’ installed on your tablet. To check that,
go to ‘Settings’ ‘About Tablet’. If you have any other version, check
for the suitable rooting procedure on Google, as this article won’t
help you root your device.
·
Create a backup of your
data which is present in the tablet’s internal memory.
·
This process will wipe
out the data in your tablet leaving the SD card untouched.
·
So, don’t forget to
backup (at least) the
following: SMS, MMS, Documents, Images, Videos, Executable
files, and APN settings, all other important & relevant data.
·
Charge your tablet to
show up a 70% battery before proceeding to root.

Install Asus Transformer
TF300T USB drivers on your PC. (On the same PC, you will
download the file which is mentioned in the next step).
